Helloooooo Team KCT!!! I am alive and well and ready to give you an update. I know I promised an update coming soon a few weeks ago… and I did not deliver! I apologize for that but, I have much to say and I cannot wait to share it with you all!
I will be writing a full post in the next couple of days but until then, we need your prayers. I have about 4 hours worth of MRIs happening tomorrow morning from about 9:00-1:00 to check for a full work up on how I have responded to the last few rounds of chemo. Each round has gone well and God has maintained my white count so that I have not had to skip any treatments. Thank you, Jesus! Now we are ready to see how God has blessed the chemotherapy and the good news is… if all looks good, I will be done with chemo by the end of this month!!! Praise God! Praise God. Praise God. I will have two more treatments to undergo and then I will get a break.
So what we would ask you to pray for is a clear report from the MRI’s and that my lymph system would be healed. I’ll get into the specifics of that in the next post, but basically I have not been able to walk for the last month because my right leg has been so swollen with lymph fluid. We think that the last radiation to my hip damaged some lymph nodes and as a result, the fluid in my leg hasn’t been draining and has been 3 times as large as my left leg at times. It’s getting better now but I still have a bit of progress to go. So be praying for good results and full healing as always.
God has been doing some amazing things in my life and I cannot wait to fill you in! I’ll share the results as soon as we know. Till then, have a wonderful evening and know I am thankful for each and every one of you and your prayers. May the Lord bless you ten fold for the faithfulness you have had in supporting me. I love you and good night!
